Garlic in knots.

It’s almost October,  and the garlic has put on a growth spurt during the start of spring.    The garlic  has started to mature, and will hopefully be ready to harvest by mid November.

A little trick / tip that I picked up from my Greek neighbor, is to tie the top foliage of the garlic into a knot.  Apparently this is meant to help the plant concentrate growth towards bulb rather than the foliage, resulting in bigger, fatter garlic cloves.
